A little about me...

Hi, I'm Meredith

I’m a fine artist by nature, who slid into the world of graphic design and printing right out of college, and landed in my family’s pre-press shop in downtown Cleveland. I was grateful to learn the technical aspects of the field, as well as the importance of customer service and the value of dedicated clients and co-workers. I combined the technical knowledge with my creative side and left the family nest for positions at some great agencies and publications around town, where I got to work with some really talented people. In 2012, I decided I was ready to go start my own company, so I could focus on the type of work I like best, which is working with inspired people dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of others.

Services

Web Design

I design and develop sites using Wordpress, which is an amazing open source platform that allows me to create beautiful, mobile ready, SEO ready, fully dynamic sites. The sites include an easy-to-use content management system so clients can make changes and add to their site on a regular basis.

Identity & Branding

If you are just starting something up, we’ll start with a name and a logo. If you have a logo but need to refine it and produce some coordinating materials, we’ll develop a color palette, type system, and set of brand guidelines for all materials to follow. If you already have a fully developed brand, I’m happy to produce complimentary materials that stay within your brand.

Photography

I can snap a few pictures when necessary, but much more importantly, I have great relationships with the area’s best photographers. Whether it’s studio shots, location, photojournalism, or fine art photography, I can select who will work best for you and work with them to get great results.

Printing

Remember that family print shop I mentioned? It still exists, and specializes in short-run and on-demand printing…and I get pretty good pricing on the jobs. 😉

Self Publishing

My experience in the publishing world has given me more than just expert design knowledge—I can take an author’s manuscript to completion with a full understanding of proofing, print on demand, pricing, and distribution. Editorial Design

The bulk of my career has been based in editorial design and art direction, so it’s a passion of mine. Good editorial design and production take a special set of skills and fine attention to detail. I can also help take your print publication to web and tablet.

Illustration & Retouching

Photo comps, photo restoration, photo illustration…even image asset management.

Animated Presentations

If you need an animated logo or are interested in adding dynamic animations to a presentation.

Heavy Duty Programming

I know when a project is beyond what I can handle technically, so fortunately I partner with some great programmers that can develop complex web applications from the ground up, and who are also really nice people that are fun to collaborate with.

Video

I don’t do video. But I know an amazing woman who does. Danielle Miller’s work can be seen here at rabidfilmmaking.com.

Teaching/Training

I taught at Cuyahoga Community College back in the 2000’s when they first introduced Flash software to teach animation. Since then, sharing my design and technical knowledge has been a passion of mine, currently training clients in WordPress CMS, Canvas, and even Microsoft Templates. I like to empower my clients by providing them with the tools and knowledge to create things on their own, when they want. I have a full set up for group or individual training at my Midtown studio.
